Mobile Phone and Wearable Devices Policy
At Sylvania High School, students cannot use mobile phones while on the school grounds at any time. This applies to all students immediately once they enter through the school gate and includes class time, sport time, break time, and when moving between classes. This also extends to excursions, sports carnivals, camps and all other events at the school or off site where an approved school activity takes place.
School Behaviour Policy
At Sylvania High School we are committed to implementing a firm and consistent approach to the teaching and management of student behaviour. The focus of the behaviour policy is to encourage students to strive for excellence through safe, respectful and responsible behaviour.
School Uniform Policy
Our school community supports the wearing of school uniform, which promotes a sense of belonging for students and creates a positive identity for the school community. School uniforms also contribute to the personal safety of students by allowing easier recognition of students inside the school and in the community.

The Reward and Recognition Policy outlines the school’s approach to acknowledging and celebrating the diverse achievements of students, staff and the community and is underpinned by the values of scholarship, honour and service.
