At Sylvania High School we aim to make the Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) programs a relevant and important part of the students’ curriculum and life. To achieve this we offer a wide range of subjects which provide students with opportunities to engage in innovative and practical design activities.
Students learn about different technologies and use a range of materials, tools and techniques to solve real problems and to create ideas and quality solutions in response to needs. The courses help to develop creativity and problem solving skills in students. They also help to build their self-confidence as they take pride in creating a variety of projects across all subjects.
