Sylvania High School’s Learning Hacks initiative, part of the CoSAW network, is designed for high-potential and gifted students (HPGE). This innovative program investigates strategies to enhance learning, creativity, productivity, memory, and understanding.
Students from Sylvania Public School - At The Bridge, Sylvania Heights Public School and Sans Souci Public School engaged in hands-on experiments, scientific inquiry, and creative presentations to evaluate the effectiveness of various techniques.
The Learning Hacks program explored music’s impact on memory retention, the cognitive benefits of meditation, high-intensity exercise for improving math problem-solving, and the connection between mind and body in managing exam stress.
Each session seamlessly integrated science with key learning areas, offering students a rich and interdisciplinary learning experience and we thank Mr Lister for a brilliantly curated program!
