Members of the School Sustainability Council in years 8-10 represented SHS at the Youth Climate and Biodiversity Forum on Friday.
Participating in a range of activities, our students:
Met with leading climate and biodiversity experts. Together with peers from other local schools they brainstormed the main environmental problems facing their generation and workshopped proposals to lead sustainable change in our school and broader community.
Left inspired with lots of ideas for creative way to boost sustainability at school and some new native plant additions for our School Sustainability Garden.
Thank you to our students and Ms Colagiuri for committing to reducing our environmental impact and empowering individuals to become responsible for contributing to a sustainable future.
