Harmony Day on the 21st March 2023 is such an important day for us to celebrate the richness of our cultural diversity.
We could hear the conversations as ancestral pride emerged when the students participated in the activities. Many cultures as one.
Our students had an amazing day of cultural activites that was run and managed by our Head Teach of HSIE Anna Taleb (pictured above).
- They participated in the creation of our Growing Greater Harmony Tree. They were asked to share their culture one side fo the leaf and then what Harmony Day means to them on the other.
- Cultural Perfomances from our students
- Samba Brazil and C'DARZ Entertainment were our guests for the day who perfomed for the students and engaged them some cultural dance.
- A fashion show to showcase some of the cultural clothing that students wore on the day.
- Cultural food was served at the canteen and sports played at lunch.
It was a wonderful day that helped the students share their cultural heritage with each other creating a tight bond within the school.
