Community involvement

Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.

Sylvania High School Parents & Citizens Association (P&C)

The Sylvania High School Parents & Citizens Association (SHS P&C) plays an integral role in the Sylvania High School community. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to bring parents, staff, students and citizens together to promote and benefit the interests of the students and the school community.

Through the P&C voluntary contribution P&C raises valuable funds that are donated to the school to improve its facilities, purchase new equipment, resources and support identified projects.

Join our P&C

We encourage all parents/carers of students enrolled at the school, as well as citizens and school staff to become members of the P&C. Joining the P&C is a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. Membership fee is $2.00 via bank transfer.

P&C Meetings

The P&C meets at 6.30pm twice each term on the Thursday of Week 3 and Week at 6.30pm in the School Office Boardroom or via Teams link online (contact P&C for the online link via email shspnc.treasurer@gmail.com)

All parents/carers, citizens and school staff are welcome to attend these meetings regardless of whether you are a P&C member or not.
